Profile Misuzu Kosaka, a Tottori native, comes of Shinto family. One of the oldest shrine in Japan ”Sasafuku shrine” is where she was born. Studied under Saisui Ishibashi (kanji calligraphy master) and Yuri Sato (kana calligraphy master). Her modern style calligraphy works grope and express human emotion in extremely artistic ways. The works have always been getting public attentions, and appeard on the mass media several times. Director, and Instructor of Calligraphy Education Society of Japan. Ms. Kosaka′s artistic activity include holding solo exhibitions, charity exhibitions, and presiding over her own workshop. She puts life into her calligraphy works, and her works make the space come into life.
